Pension Payments

  • Pensioners of Central and State Governments can open a separate pension account in our identified branches.

  • Pensioners are requested to produce the life certificate once in a year (i.e. in the month of November) to enable the branches to pay pension without interruption/delay.

  • The pension will be credited by the branch to the pensioner’s savings or current account on the last working day of the month.

  • The pension for the month of March will be credited on or after 1st working day of April.

  • The pension will not be paid in cash. Pension can be paid through joint account with the spouse

  • Every pensioner is required to submit marriage/remarriage/unemployment certificates periodically wherever applicable.

PPF, Savings Bank to Senior Citizen, Govt. Relief Bond

The Bank entertains and undertakes following services:

  • Opening of accounts under Public Provident Fund Scheme through designated branches.

  • Opening of accounts under Senior Citizens Savings Scheme - 2004 at all designated branches.

  • Issue and Servicing of Relief / Savings Bonds at designated branches.

Collection of Taxes & Government Dues:

  • Citizens can remit certain types of Taxes like Income Tax, Sales Tax, Wealth Tax, Interest Tax, Gift Tax, Corporation Tax, Estate Duty, Customs and Excise Duty, from the designated branches.

  • Necessary Challans for remittance of Taxes are available at these branches.

  • Our all designated branches for collection of direct taxes are covered under On Line Tax Accounting System. (OLTAS)

  • Tax can be remitted in cash or by cheques payable locally / banker's cheques. Outstation cheques/drafts are not accepted. The receipted challans in the cases of payment by local cheques shall be released only after realisation.

  • Telephone Bills, Electricity Bills and Water Bills are also accepted at designated branches.
