Bharat BillPay

Bharat BillPay is an initiative of national importance which offers real time bill payment service to customers/ non customers across geographic and demographic lines. Bharat BillPay is a tiered platform wherein our Bank is participating as Customer Bharat Bill Payment Operating Units (Customer BBPOU).

The bill payment options are available through multiple channels. At present, bank is offering the service through Baroda Connect, Baroda M-Connect plus, Multifunction Kiosks (MFK) and Baroda e-Gateway. Bharat BillPay is a simple, secure and easy to use bill payment platform which offers interoperable and accessible bill payment services to customers with instant confirmation of receipt of payment.

Existing Bill Payment options

  • No single facility to pay all types of bills at one location

  • Rural areas do not have access to third party bill payment services

  • Charges for bill payment services are not standardized

  • No standard TAT and mechanism for complaint management & resolution

  • Banks are required to connect to multiple aggregators & billers. Thus we have Multiple Settlements and Reconcillation with different billers

  • Fragmented market, lack of trust and low brand connect/recall

Bharat BillPay

  • Anytime anywhere payment of all types of bills through an integrated platform

  • Agent outlets and bank branches are also being examined

  • Standardized charges for banks, non-banks, agents, customers etc.

  • Bharat BillPay has laid down standardised complaints management system to handle customer issues

  • Standard commercial arrangement across the industry. Single Settlement & Reconcillation with Billers

  • Single and trusted brand connect and Bharat BillPay Assurance

  • Available for both, Bank’s Customers as well as Non-Customers.

  • For Bank’s Customer, bill payment through Baroda Connect, Baroda M-Connect plus, Multifunction Kiosk and Baroda e-gateway (Debit & Credit cards- Master, VISA & Rupay) options are available.

  • For Non-Customers, bill payment is available through Baroda e-gateway (Debit & Credit Cards- Master, VISA & Rupay).
